Charging settings: FordPass vs MME

I don't always charge to the same SOC at home and in the past have managed this using the FordPass app which seemed to do a good job of talking to the MME and changing the settings there. But last night although I changed it to 60% in FP for my Home location, it charged to 80%. I hadn't checked the car's setting, but I noticed it was 80% when I got in the car this AM. I feel like I've read about this sort of behavior previously though didn't dig up relevant threads when I searched. Is this flakiness common, with charge settings in FP not getting communicated to the MME? In the future I'll just change in the car, but wondering if others noticed this as well.

I have the same problem. It does not change the charge percent when done from the app even though it verifies that it changed.
