Charging settings

I’ve read the manuals and read through here and I’m still stuck. I received the new update 4.2.3 last week and now my charge settings are screwed up, deleted and I can’t change. I have a grizzle e charger that charges fine. I had my settings at home in FP and in car for 11-7 to 90% and all was fine. Now my home is deleted from FP and every time I plug in it wants to goto 100% and I can change it. I’ve only saved the local Giant charger as another previous location and it shows up in both. When it’s plugged in at home and I try to edit charging by add location it will show my home address and the “location” types (work, home, other etc) has HOME grayed out or preselected but I can’t make any changes to the charging, times or %. If it’s unplugged it says I have to charge somewhere to add a place. On FP charge settings if I press Preferred Charge Times it only shows the Giant L2 location but doesn’t show and won’t allow me to change any settings for Home. So anytime I charge at home now I can only charge to 100% or I need to monitor and press stop charging. Home can’t be added or set charge, departure times. I’ve heard but never specifically read that “saved locations “ was other than home. That’s ok I dont charge at work and only DCFC on road trips and don’t need to save those. Want to set and change home settings. Charge log in FP lists correct home location. What a pita.

TLDR;

Make the charge settings in the car, not FordPass. This has been an issue for a while with FordPass.

I will add to what @bshaw said,
For some reason, for me at least, if I delete the “home” location, I can’t label anything else as “home” because my car says that name is already in use. So my home location, in the charge settings in the car (not the FordAss app because it is… well… FordAss) is now labeled “mi casa.”

I've had weird charge things happening the past week after having the car for almost 2 years. It is ignoring the charge schedule. I'll try updating in the car.

I’ll try to change the name. Didn’t see anywhere to do that, thought it gave me choices like work, office etc. I’ve heard it’s best to change in car as it avoids any FP car connectivity issues but as it stands now I have no charge or scheduling options in either, plug and charge to 100% that’s it. What a pita!!

Try rebooting Sync (Vol Down + Seek Right). May not do anything but worth a shot.
