Hello All,

Just a quick question on changing times..
I’m setting the charging times on FORD PASS to charge it to 90% target between 11 PM - 6 AM.

So if I plug the level-2 charger to the charging slot of MACH-E. anytime before 11 PM, will it start charging immediately (or) will wait till 11 PM to start charging?

Thanks much

It will wait until 11pm to start charging. But there will be an option in the app to allow you to start immediately if you ever need it.

However, it may start charging earlier than 11:00 pm if the charger won’t complete charging by 6:00 am the next morning.

Meaning your charge target and current SOC is the determining factors as to whether it charges outside the window or not.

If the car doesn't think it will be done. It isn't great at exactness in that determination.

Isn't that only true if you have a 6 am departure time set?

Yes, that was the OP's question. More generally, I would rephrase it as the Mach E may start charging earlier than the start of the preferred charging period if the charger won’t complete charging to the target %SOC by the end of preferred charging period.
