Just got my car yesterday. Have a chargepoint flex set up. Is it better to use car to set schedule and limit or chargepoint app?

I tried to set my max via for app to 85% but charge details show target of 100%. Do I need to unplug and replug once I changed that? Do I need a schedule as well? My rates are the same all day so I just want to plug in and charge but to 85% only.
thanks

Set a schedule allowing charging 23 hours/day. Users have reported that the 'charge when plugged in' option doesn't use the max charge percentage.

You need to charge for a little bit so your car can recognize that location as a charge spot. Then name it something like "Home" or "Work" or "Castle " whatever.....

Then set your charge preferences for that location. That seems to be the best solution for most folks.

Also, it's definitely better to use the car for this programming.

Ok, did that. It found my new location.

I've done it from the app, and it does work, but the app tends to hang after hitting "save". Eventually, the app will shut down, and then it will be there. I think Ford Pass 3.33 worked though. It is certainly worth a try now. Interestingly, the Mexico factory used to show up as a previous charge location. That disappeared recently. (iOS)
