My demo Mach E will not charge from this 240V plug in my home Does it make a difference that it is a 4 wire plug but Ford charging station (which is not available to me yet) only needs 3 wire to charge at 48 amps?

No problem charging MME with a 48A (11 kW) chargepoint flex which is just two wires + a ground from the panel.

Good news! Dealer inspected the MME after it would not charge at my house; after careful testing the dealer tech support found a “pin” loose in the electrical system! Next, I also had my electrician come inspect the 240 V 4 wire receptacle for proper voltage; he checked wiring, 50 amp 240 plug was registering proper voltage. Next, I hooked up the MME Mobile 32 Amp charger (furnished with car) and it is working/charging as expected!
