Charging with dryer plug?

Ford App is reporting the 1.5KW. It's unlikely I am getting beyond 120 as I am 200ft from transformer.

Get a multimeter and find out what the voltage is at the outlet. I bet it is higher than 120V, and I bet that the Chinese EVSE is set for higher than 12A.

Ah, 15A. That makes a lot of sense. Hope the outlet you are plugged into is 20A and so is the breaker.

I use this one at work sometimes and we have 20 amp receptacles everywhere. Commercial building.

Every time you use a extension cord, you introduce 2 more points of failure. Then there's the voltage drop over a long cord that can be bad. Extension cords are not meant to be used for permanent solutions, too. Not to mention long continuous use is bad.

I can for sure take one. Also, that’s the thing… people saying Ford charger definitely pulls 12A and the car won’t accept more than that either. Well… how does my Chinese charger show greater numbers than this…?

Does your chinese EVSE (it isn't a charger) have a display on the front showing voltage and current? The portable Ford EVSE definitely is fixed at 12A. That's easily verified by anyone with a Kill-A-Watt meter, or an electricity monitor for the house (Emporia Vue, for example).

No it does not. I just noticed that my Ford app shows 1.1 with the Ford unit and 1.4-1.5 with the Chinese one.

Ford app data isn’t reliable. Many examples on the forum of incorrect app data, especially charging data.

Honestly, as everyone else has said, it's not particularly safe and the equipment you'd be likely to find isn't going to be up to the task.

For the price minimally sufficient cabling would run if you can find it - I'd buy a cheap generator that you can wheel out next to the car.
