OP won’t do any damage with that.

31.5mm sockets are available but nearest “normal” size is 1 1/4 inch AF.

I’d probably have one of those in my archived tools including the 3/4” Whitworth (!) open enders and sockets but wouldn’t even think about looking for an AF measured in inches on any car built after, say, 1980😂
