It seems that anytime the temperature slides below 40* I get a notice to plug in. I have my charger set to charge between 10:00pm and 6:00 am for low Kw costs. So does it do any good to plug into my charger when it is set not to charge?
(I use the Ford 48amp 240 v home charger)
also I normally precondition the car at 8:30 AM after the charger should be shut off, am I pulling off the battery or the charge cord?
(I use the Ford app to time the charges)
