Cold weather ranges

I am curios to know your range experiences: highway driving at 60 miles per hour at 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks.

I normally don't drive that slow. I have the same spec: Premium 4X. At 75 mph with 40F I would get about 2.4 miles per kWh. So 60 mph would be higher than that.

2021 ER AWD Road trip 50-60 MPH, 46F, 231 Mile Range.... 2.6, Mi/kWH. Remember your battery is slightly smaller due to ambient temp. Mine was an 88 kW unit. at 40F it will be similar or slightly less. Heat on 68F Fan Level 1. Scale up for a 91 kWh battery

I also looked at a 38F trip, 100 miles, meter said 2.8 mi/kWh traveling 50 MPH average.

I get about 3.5 miles/kWh (~320 miles maximum range) when driving at 65 mph and 32 degrees F outside, with two people in the vehicle. Elevation change from 7000 ft to 5500 feet to 7000 feet.

36 degrees, 65-70 mph, 2.5 mi/kWh.

2021 Mach E premium extended range. I have a lead foot sooo. Driving twice on the highway this week going between 75-82 or so I run about 2 to 2.3 mi/kWh Temp was between 35-40 degrees

So, it would appear that I could obtain a range of 350 km or 220 miles. Possibly more. Thanks for your help. BTW, the IVY app indicates location, availability, kw as well as price. At this moment charging is free. Don’t forget to download the new app.
