If it is like our GMC, if you are already an ATT customer, you can add it to your ATT account for around $10/month. But, that was a hassle. I called OnStar, they said I had to call ATT. I called ATT, they said I had to call OnStar. The second OnStar rep knew what to do, but it still took around 20 minutes to get it sorted.

Also note: for some reason the first gen Nintendo Switch is super picky about wifi, and we were never able to get it to connect to the car. The workarounds never worked for us. And many devices are really hard to see the screens when the sun is out. From experience, don't get your kids all excited about being able to watch movies and play games on drives until you test it out first.

How do you activate it? At $200/year it is something we don't need as our grandchildren hardly ever ride in the car with us anymore but if it's free for 3 months I might as well use it.

I have a question. When I try to use my Hotspot it asks for an ATT password. Where do I set that up?

I activated my hot spot right after I got my car because the Ford pass app required it. Now my 90 days is coming to an end and I've not had a use for it and will let it go. Will my Ford pass phone as a key quit working? Keeping my key fob with me just in case.

If you connect your Android phone to the car via a USB cable you can use the cable connection for Android Auto and the WiFi for a media connection.

In Canada the wifi plan is with Bell. I renewed it and enjoy having wifi in the car for roadtrips.
