Ford is offering 3.9% APR for the Mach-E until July 5th 2022. While that's not the best APR I've ever had on a new car, with the current economy and rising inflation, I expect it to go up.

Due to the recall, my dealer claims they can't lock in the APR until the recall is lifted. Originally we were told we could lock in the APR for 30 days.

We did not order, I found an available MME on the lot and placed a deposit and offer to purchase as soon as the recall is lifted. We agreed on a price and obviously not making payments until delivery.

There are a lot of knowledgeable and experienced people in this forum. So I ask, does this sound right? Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Does anyone happen to have insight on if Ford Credit plans to extend the 3.9% APR past July 5?

Thanks

You can call Ford Credit and see if there is a way to lock it in due to the recall holding up your purchase. I would not rely on the dealer for information.

For what it's worth my dealer just emailed me and said their Ford Rep stated they will honor the 3.9% :p

Now just to wait for the recall to be lifted.
