I got my windshield replaced yesterday, and the two rubber bits from the cowl cover that butt against the A pillar no longer have the trim push ins there to fasten them down. I looked online and went to my local ford dealer and they said those parts aren't for sale separately. My question is, how do I replace them and with what?

You make whoever replaced your windshield get them, or a new cowling.

I hear you, just thought there was a cheap easy way to get these two rubber fasteners... https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/did-grandpa-gus-solve-my-mice-invasion.34124/post-800124
I've been trying to get the part number for those fasteners for another member just the last two days. When I get it, I'll post the number if you haven't already gotten it by then. Thing is, Ford does not list the correct number for that part. Have ordered twice and they send the wrong ones.

This is the fastener you are looking for, correct?

I said I’d get back to you with the part number but have been told they only come with the entire cowl assembly and that’s why the parts for that section of the car does not show it as a separate item.

Thanks for getting back to me,

This is also what I was told by my local dealership parts department. I wonder if I can 3d print this part.
