Crack in the sunroof

My husband hand washed my 2023 Mach e GT and the sunroof cracked! The dealer says it’s not a stress crack because there is a point of contact. Has anyone had the same issue? The sunroof was pristine before the car wash. And, no it was not extremely hot out.

Rather odd.

I had to have my roof replaced, a few months back. But, that was because while my car was at the Ford dealer, they dropped something on the roof. You could see the impact spot...

When mine cracked, the dealer didn’t make the warranty determination. Ford had them send in pictures. Ford approved the warranty in my case.
