best way to respond if a dealer doesn't budge in the ADM is to walk away. But they're within their right to charge whatever, BUT dealers who are trying to add adm on ordered cars when they arrive, that's a special level of crappy

I've been trying to find an abandoned order for a Premium AWD EXT, and just got this link from a dealer:

Nearly 72K for a premium!

The audacity of setting that price on a car that is about 56K (the window sticker link is broken, so I can't see the full MSRP) is crazy.
FYI... I just sent them a message... "$72K! Shame on you. It's these auto dealer sales tactics that are leading the push for online only auto buying. Get $ while you can?"

to be fair tho, certainly on the front end, no incentive to sell the mach e for a dealer. They won't have much in the way of regular maintenance going forward, and the invoice price is basically msrp. I still can't figure out why any dealer would pay for the training and any special tools (my dealer said the cost was thousands to become an ev certified dealer). Just no incentive unless they tie allocation of hot cars like the bronco and others to selling them?

I'm in MA and paid $3k above MSRP for a Premium AWD SR back in July. I didn't want to, but it was Space White, and I didn't want black/gray (only others available at the time) and I only had 2 other options.

I paid X-Plan pricing and used Ford Options financing at Colonial Ford in Plymouth. Ask for Veronica and tell them the guy that showed them how the Options program works recommended her.

They asked 5k over for me for a select. I told them to fuck off. Jannell Ford in Hanover took care of me I bought their demo mode at MSRP but they were selling without a markup. I just missed a different model that that they sold the day before I came in.

This is relatively good news; a couple of dealers that are looking long term....when I am ready I will consider both of them....thanks for the info.

Same Dealer tried to sell me their Demo back in July for $5k over sticker and no Fed Rebate. I told them no way, they wouldn't even let me test drive it.

My local dealer has their Courtesy Vehicle just come available they want the same $5k over sticker and no Fed Rebate or discount. The sad thing is it is the exact vehicle I want but there is no chance that I am paying anywhere near that. Seems so wrong but agree if no one way paying it they wouldn't be doing it.

The MME is currently Ford hot car. One the F150 Lightening releases the MME prices will drop to closer tp MSRP and the F150 prices will be high. It's the law of Supply and Stupidity...I mean Supply and Demand.
