Anyone actually take delivery on their MME and close financing in the last 7-10 days? If so, I'm curious what the current interest rates are that you are being offered. It seems many auto makers have increased their financing rates by up to 1.5% in the last month or two.

Yesterday my credit union preapproved me at 2.99% for 60 months (was 2.74% last week), but I can cut it to 2.49% by using accumulated reward points.

Picked up a MME premium yesterday. Ford Motor credit was 2.74% for 72 mths. I believe this is only valid through May 2, after that the May financing deals will apply. I have excellent credit and PA dealer told me this rate was better than any other options they had.

I am in CA and used the Ford Option @1.4%, 48 mo. plan when I picked up my MME on 3/31/22 with Folsom Lake Ford.

Curious on why would Ford not offer the same option plan for all States?

I’m definitely going with Ford Options when mine comes in.

Good thing I chose the Ford Option and not use the $ I had set aside
Bad thing is I have added mucho $$$$ in Mods......SMH------ but well worth it

Is Ford Option a modified lease?

It functionally ends up working like a lease (you have set payments and turn the car back in at the end if you don’t want to keep it - if you do want it one large ballon payment at the end for the balance of the car’s price). This is done because for the federal tax credit, the person claiming the credit must actually ‘own’ the car, which does not happen with a traditional lease.

Technically though, Options is structured like and is a type of financing loan.

You can get the rates from the time of ordering, which would be lower, in the Ford Options plan.

I ordered on Feb 18, how do I know the rate at that time?
