Where is the window sticker?
Tesla vehicles in showrooms don’t have window stickers, and neither do Rivians. I’m certain that the companies will provide a Monroney Label when you buy the car as it is required by federal law.

How functional is it as an actual truck? I have yet to see the bed. Our F150s are for field service work. What is the bed capacity? Tool box? Still do not have any details or pictures of this (including the Frunk).
This is a “lifestyle truck”, not a functional one. I don’t think you’d want to put tools in this thing as you’ll probably scratch and dent the stainless steel.

Looks like a monument to vanity rather than common sense design. Those sharp edges will be potentially damaging to the truck and anything moving that comes in contact with it.

The bed hardly holds anything I’d want to haul
It has a 6 foot bed and is 51 inches wide. That's a pretty decent size bed and comparable to most trucks (excluding extended bed trucks of course. ) What are you hauling?

How is this different from other trucks with steel or aluminum painted beds? At lease with stainless steel, you can polish it out. Depending on thickness, stainless steel should also be stronger than aluminum or regular steel at same thickness.

the truck is not for me, but I'm glad there are choices out there. Glad it's not another SUV.

Yes, and people buy lime-green Lamborghinis too but that does not mean they have taste or style, only that they have large disposable incomes.
Who is the arbiter of good taste or style, you, me, who? I am pretty sure people who buy lime green Lamborghinis could care less what you or I think about them! In fact they buy them even though you find them hideous! ?

You sound interested, you gonna buy you one?

It lacks paint that hides imperfections in the metal’s surface quality. Can you imagine driving around in a truck with a bed that looks like counters at a commercial kitchen?

Not to worry, the truck is bullet proof.

I think that people that actually use their trucks as trucks, don't care too much about getting the bed scratched up, it's all par for the course. The lifestyle people will probably get their bed covered and protected.

Yes, I’m anxiously waiting to see if he’ll try that stunt again!

I do think it’ll look nice wrapped in a camouflage vinyl. It’ll give the Arnold Schwarzenegger wannabes the best of both worlds.

Depends on the grade of stainless. Most stainless steel still rusts. Might have a coating on it, but will be interesting to see how it shows dents and scratches.

Body panel “strength” isn’t really a thing people care about. Steel, aluminum, plastic etc seem to be used interchangeably.

A major benefit of paint is you can touch it up and that you can pick your color.

People like having color choices……a lot.

I agree on color, that's why tesla will offer wraps.

I'm not sure how automotive paint will stick to stainless steel, but I'm sure they will offer color choices in the future once production ramps up. Tesla does a pretty good job of updating their products throughout the years.

I like that Tesla is willing to take risk. I admit that I don't see the appeal of the CT. It's just not for me. And I like Green Lambos. The last thing I want from an OEM is another SUV. Let's have some variety.
