Ford is definitely aware, this is all over the forum. Most dealers can't replicate it the issue because they're not as awesome as your dealer and aren't willing to install a 14-50 so they just say it worked for us on 120v and send it back lol.True but my dealership claimed they had never even heard of any issues with the Ford mobile charger.
If more people take their chargers in for replacements Ford may update the design so they aren't losing as much money replacing people's EVSEs.
I'm pretty certain that they have no intentions to redesign it at this point. They've clearly labelled it as a mobile charger and offer the Ford Connected Charge Station or whatever it is called as the supposed "daily driver."
I'm just happy they still include one with purchase. I mean, I'm sure part of their price increase calculations took the mobile charger into account, but it is still nice when other manufacturers raise the price a bunch without a charger.
