Delayed another month - in Shipped - any ideas?

After the (slim) possibility of having my 2021 vehicle delivered in 2021 passed, I just got an email saying that delivery will be delayed another month.

You folks always seem to know what is going on - any ideas here? (It was built on 12/6, so I think I am clear of the rear seatbelt issue and my dealer said it didn't have any recalls). Palsapp.com says it was delivered to the next stop in Dec.

Going on 9+ months here, this baby is way past its due date...

If you don’t have tracking access with United Road, DM me your vin, and I’ll check.

I may or may not be able to get results; it depends upon whether or not your car is scheduled to ship with United Road, as not all MMEs do.

Mine has been delayed due to the seatbelt recall, but hopefully not much longer…I’m now in the 38th week.

Same here....I also got a similar email yesterday saying my delivery is being delayed another month (from Jan. 14 to Feb. 14). Mine was also built on 12/6 and Palsapp.com says it was delivered to the next stop NORFOLK SOUTHERN (VOLTZ) on Dec. 26.

Yes I am also in the same situation.
Actually Bob (oadesign) and my car are sitting 30 minutes from our homes since December 5 at a rail yard.
Bob looks like you got more information on the reason of the hold...
What I don't get it is why can't dealer service department fix these issues.
That would have moved cars lot faster.

KC is a rail aggregation point. 10 MME's per rail car.

In addition to MME's from Mexico the F150 assembly plant is very close. I haven't taken the time to figure out what it would take to fill a mixed railcar. But F150 production will have an impact on volume. And volume is a good thing as the system seems biased to efficiency over speed.

Personal experience is that my car waited better than a month to be loaded for the beginning of the shipment to the final destination.

Informed speculation is that you will be railed from KC to Elkhart IN and then trucked to dealer. The when is the question.
