I also was scheduled for the 20th then the 27th and now I got an email today delaying production until January 4th. Hope that's the last delay.
Yeah, unfortunately I received the same email from Ford. Now the scheduled production week for my Premium RWD is Jan 4, 2021. that's the 2nd slip for me in 2 weeks.

A few thoughts come to mind. These slips may have a pattern related to certain parts or distributing the vehicle types to balance the line. They may also be regional.

One other thought is we've been hearing a lot of EU/UK cars getting build dates between now and the end of the year. They may just be making room for those so they can get them on a RORO ship sooner.

Yep. Especially since we're also seeing a few people moving up in the schedule at the same time. Looks like some routine reshuffling to balance whatever they need to keep balanced.

Fortunately most of the moves have been pretty minor (a few days, up to maybe 2 weeks). That's in the area that I'd consider just normal churn of the build schedule. I assume some minor delays (a few days here and there) are probably normal for a brand new production vehicle.

Yes and most of the 2-week delays have been across Christmas, so not many days.

Mine moved from 1/3 to 1/10. I suspected that might happen based on what other people had indicated happened to them

So my dealer emailed me that my car (FE) was built on 12-10-20 which is what www.macheforum.com/site/pages/tracker had told me well before the email. Fordpass sort of confirms that with a new prompt to "Activate your car" (which tells me to go to the vehicle and confirm!). So I am guessing it's part of that 3000-odd vehicles waiting for transport to their destinations, whenever that happens. Dealer told me even DEMO units have not been shipped.

Note: @Administrator posted this over on the Tracking and Status thread:

Hi all - we've just updated the tracker sheet with two additional columns for "Actual Build Date" and "Actual Delivery Date"

Please continue to use the Change Request Form to provide this information once you receive it and we will update it on the tracker. ?

My FE was supposed to be built next week, specifically on December 16. I just learned they are running a week behind. Anyone else get the word on this?
My build date was the week of 11/29. There have been no updates about delays from Ford and the owner site doesn't show anything after that. My dealer said they don't have any updates, but nothing has been shipped so expect it around the 1st or after. I'm in a rental car after turning my lease in so I'm disappointed.

Same boat here. Was supposed to be built the week of 11/29. No emails or updates from Ford. No progress noted when I log in to view my order. Still lists a build week of 11/29.

Very very poor communication from Ford.

I could not access my Ford account for part of the day. When I finally (stubborn) was able to get in my production date was moved up two weeks. No notification from Ford. My dealership(my mistake - I chose the closest one from the list) rep. does not communicate with me unless I contact him first. I will try and get in touch with him on the morrow?!

Congrats on the build being moved up. If that holds, it means getting the car up to 2 weeks earlier.

I’m not sure what benefit contacting the dealer would be though. If you have an updated build date, I’d there something else you want or need to know? Your experience with few communications from your dealer is not unusual btw.
