I was wondering how long until a yellow Mach-E had to get the DeWalt charger to match...

Does it record energy usage? Has an app?

There is an app on the App Store.

Based on the outlet box size, you didn't use a heavy duty EV rated 14-50 outlet similar to this one https://www.hubbell.com/bryant/en/P...vices/Industrial-Receptacles/9450FR/p/1636788 which only fits in a dual oversized box.

This outlet and cover are available from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Bryant-Electric-9450FR-Straight-Receptacle/dp/B003A2R9RM

This video shows what could happen when you use cheap outlets from L or HD

If you can hard wire this EVSE and get rid of the plug and outlet, that's the safest installation.

I appreciate your input, but I'm renting and this is what the landlord provided. I'll send him your comments, though!

Yes, and yes. I've only used it once, however, so I'm short on details at the moment.

That's one heavy duty looking unit.

One option that will significantly reduce risk of fire is to reduce the DeWalt's maximum average, say to 24 or 30 amps for example.

35%-90% is 55%. 55% of a 91kwh battery is roughly 50 kwh. 9pm -1:30am is roughly 4.5 hours. 50kwh over 4.5 hours is roughly 11.1 kw/hr. 11.1kw/hr translates to 46.3 amps. If that's a 40 amp charger, than the estimate is wrong.
On a 40 amp charger (9.6kwh) it should take a bit over 5 hours to charge from 35%-90% on a extended range (assuming it doesn't experience the slow down that many of us have seen).

I checked my logs and it turns out I was incorrect. It was 37%-100% in 6 hours 10 minutes. I meant it to only go to 90% but I must have set something wrong in the FordPass app. The battery is the standard range.

If you set “Charge when plugged in”, the limit is ignored.

Dewalt just dropped a 32 amp Portable charger. Longer cable, more K-dubs and 3 year warranty. My Ford Mobile Charger is intermittently showing yellow error code, so its a no brainer.
