DID ANYONE get a 2022 yet?

I just got a call from my dealer. They just took delivery of the 2021 GT Performance that a guy backed out of. They put a 5k fee on it. So its 74k. I have 3 days to make up my mind if I want it or not. Grabber Blue. My wife DOES NOT like the black interior. I DONT LIKE the 5k fee. I am not sure what I will do yet. I am really aggravated with FORD and the lack of getting these built. Pardon my rant. We will see if I get it or not. Sorry for bitching here. But you guys get it. ?

Just tell them to take off the ADM and they can sell your car when it comes in for probably more than a $5k ADM.

3 days implies after that they're not getting the cash back from Ford. so they are getting paid twice (once from ADM, once from the 5 day selling window).

No, I have no date or anything yet for the one I ordered.

They want to just cancel my order. So it doesnt interfere with other customer orders they have taken. Other dealers in our area are getting 10k to 15k above. I guess they feel justified on the 5k upcharge. I actually just left the dealership. Go take a look. There it sits in all its glory, being charged. Decisions decisions.

I can pretty much guarantee they are not actually going to cancel your order, they're getting a car they can now add an ADM on to, whereas customer orders are generally at MSRP.

I know it’s hard to wait, but why pay more for a car that isn’t exactly what you want. I say wait it out.

Our Federal government knows where every cow is located in America! You would think Ford would be able to track every car they make. As customers, willing to pay 50, 60 or 70,000 dollars, you would think Ford would inform us as to the statics of our cars. Guess not.

it's right there and has kick to lift hatch and acoustic glass. A 2022 would cost $3000 more and not have that. Just something more to think about.

Good luck with that. Ford won't pay for that, the dealer would have to eat it, and his first response should be "we'll be happy to ensure that it's charged overnight and run it on the tester". If you continue to insist, I expect his response would be "you can take your business elsewhere, I have a line of people waiting to buy this car".

I think it's perfectly reasonable to ask the dealer to test the 12V battery. But if it tests fine, they're not going to replace it just because you ask them to.

I thought it would be an easy no to. Lol. But it is in the color of the car I ordered and there is something to be said in the GT model vs the Premium I ordered. I am still kicking this back and forth. ?

Yup mine estimated delivery of 3/19 and now it is 6/17/2022. I hope this is not true. Been in production for 3 weeks now.
