I received the Ford letter about the recall and my Ford Pass noted the recall. Ford Pass no longer shows a recall and there is nothing on Ford Pass or in the car to indicate that it was downloaded. What do you think happened?

I'm starting to think Ford Pass servers are bugged with the recall. It has cleared for a lot of people that did it manually or have never had it applied, but it is still shows on the Ford website. I'd assume you probably still need to wait it out and haven't gotten it.

If you got it OTA (over the air), you would have seen both a notification in FordPass and the vehicle. If you look in the vehicle now, in the update section, you MAY see the LATEST update, which MAY be that one.

Eventually, both FordPass and the vehicle will cease to display it.

Or, you could have taken it to the dealer to get it, and neither the car nor FordPass will indicate that.

It’s not showing in the car as an OTA or on the FordPass. It just disappeared. There’s no indication that I ever received it.

Same – the recall alert in the FordPass app went away for me, but I haven't received any updates. I double checked on ford.com, and it still shows the recall as incomplete there.

I don’t have any notice on Ford Pass that it was received. On July 20, FP shows the car received 2.8.3 but nothing else.

Go over to the FDRS thread and ask one of the volunteers there to runyour VIn to figure out whether the software is on your car or not. ??

Newbie (10/3 build week) don’t have my car yet. Can you check the current software version in the car settings? I pick up my Lightning this week and asked about this in the lightning forum because I want the dealership to ensure the truck is up to date when I “pick up”. Some current Lightning Owners sent the the instructions to get to active software version. Maybe some here can do the same. I’ll be asking an a couple months anyway. Thanks.
