2022 MME GT, Panoramic Roof, non-PE.


First - Love - Love - Love the car! This is my 8th Mustang and definitely my fave!

I learned a few new things in the 3 days I've owned this baby:

1. Even though they deleted certain things in January, I still have laminate front windows, but no foot-activated liftgate. Someone else mentioned the connections are installed, just needs the module or sensor. Not important.

2. Which leads me to this: it is important to program the extended height of your lift gate ASAP, especially if you have low beams in your garage or carport. It's really easy to do.

3. PAAK sucks. Nothing new here. Just doesn't play well with brand new Samsung S22 . But of course most 2021s and all 2022s have 2 fobs and a code to get in.

4. Although a Frunk opener would be nice on the fobs, there is a lever where the hood release would be, and there is a code series one can use on the keypad.

5. A duh realization, but the GT wheel inserts are cool. I just thought the cutouts were painted pockets, but they're actually flush, hi-gloss spacers between the daisy spokes.
5a. Did not think I would like the Daisy Spokes, but they are cool and quite distinctive - you know it's a GT!

6. Little talked about, but has anyone tried the "Unbridled Extend" setting? Wow! Reminds me of that speaker commercial with the guy pushed back in his chair, hair flowing behind. There is a reason Ford recommends only using this setting on a track!

If you have your MME already or are impatiently waiting, the fun is there! Worth the wait!

What is the code combo to unlock the frunk? Do you have to put your unlock pin and then this code combo or if you have your keys/phone on you, can you just do the code combo and it unlocks?

I have the same car on order and I already sold a 2021 GT non perf and made six grand on it ....you’re gonna love the car and it’s beautiful dude. The red is it.....Can't wait to try the performance model

Do you have to have PAAK setup for this to work? I have a job 1, did not set up PAAK and other than the unlock code, none of the shortcuts work for me.

The unbridled extend allows you to use your power over longer periods of time such as on a racetrack. It actually limits your power so if you're looking for the "guy pushed back in his chair" feeling, you'd be better off using regular unbridled. Nice looking car!

Weird. I first tried it before I set up PaaK. The frunk opening requires a 2021 Job 2 car or newer (or whenever Ford gets the OTA updates to the Job 1 cars). The other two for the lift gate and the all doors unlock are for all MMEs, straight out of P. 76 of the Owner's Manual. ?‍?

More discoveries.... I used to be a fanatic, but I no longer notice gas prices as I drive by the stations - at all!
(We do have an ICE still in the family.)

Speaking of family, I have described 1-pedal driving in such a way that they are scared of it. Only I am able to drive the Mach-e. Oh well! ?

The epiphany of being able to have the MME warm up in the garage w/o having to worry about exhaust fumes was awesome.

Finding the setting to have the MME adjust speed with speed limit signs is an cool feature we didn't know about.

Never thought I'd use 1Pd, but greatly prefer it now

Zoom controls in the camera on certain sections when backing up has actually been nice

Then this happened.... driving through a construction zone where they alternated thru traffic, you know, one side has a stop sign and other has Slow, then they take turns.

As I was nearing the end of the section. about to merge back into my side of the street, and facing waiting oncoming cars, the Mach suddenly went into Panic Mode! Red warning lights flashing, loud alarms, and me about jumping out of the seat!

Preventing an accident almost caused an accident! How sensitive my new pony is! ?

I never thought about this, but it’s very true. I haven’t looked at a gas price sign in 6 months.

You should set up PaaK so you can setup a door code and backup start key code. If you lose the keyfob you’ll still be able to start the car.

Same here. Paak works flawless on my S21. I also tell android to run it in restricted mode. In restricted mode there's zero battery drain and Paak only works after I open the fordpass app. This is perfect IMO
