At the curve it is a bit harder. Clean it up and give it a shot. You can’t make it any worse.
Just apply in small increments.

Clean it up? Remove small bits, you mean? To leave as perfect of a circle as possible?

Why in small increments versus just covering the area with one application? Does applying 1mm at a time build up with layers, so to speak, and that will look more even?
Instead of coating what's there now once which will color match BUT won't be even?

Yes, get rid of all loose paint and clean with rubbing alcohol.
It looks like it’s a vertical surface, if you go too thick, it will run.

@HughJazzol, wait 15-20 minutes between each application.
