Does default range reduce?

So a few months back I deleted all my journey history and got 311 miles as default range on a full charge.

I must have driven about 300 miles since then. I deleted my journey history again today and got only 276 miles.

I am confused. Shouldn’t the default range be the same? It isn’t estimated range.
