Does EXT and STD Range have the same motors?

I wonder if you could ever upgrade the battery to a EXT range one in the future? I am betting it is modular.
But it would probably be more complicated than just putting in a larger battery because as others have mentioned, the wiring to the motors is different too.

I do not think it would be that simple. Besiding the wiring is a little different the car will need to have other things change to handle increase weight of the larger battery. I

The ER pack is objectively 30% larger, but the real difference is that those additional cells are wired in parallel. Same voltage but more available current. Any adjustment one chooses to make to the SR battery could also be done on the ER battery.

No games being played, just a matter of the laws of physics.
Definitely. It's just sooo close to being able to outkick the 4X off the line and give a couple of other performance EVs a run for their money.
