Does the MME support hands free?

It’s been way too quiet here lately. We need a major update or something to shake things up.

I’m the meantime, ponder this. I was next to another MME on the highway today. A beautiful Cyber Orange GT. She was doing the oddest thing. She was holding her phone to her ear? I didn’t know that’s how phones worked.

I think I'm more surprised she was holding it to her ear and not on speaker holding the microphone up to her mouth in front of her face.

She was very old school! That or possibly she was only listening at the time and when speaking she possibly did as you said. After she spoke to the phone in front of her face, did she say "Over" and then move it to her ear?? That would be REALLY old school!

Actually, as I understand it the newest phones have a feature wherein you don't have to type to send a message. Somehow you are able to speak into it and the person on the other end (if they also have the latest phone models) is able to hear what you said - IN REAL TIME!

This new feature is going to be a game changer!

Many drivers seem to not be aware of how to use handsfree technology.

Same here. We have traffic lights at highway entrances. Cops hangout there and ticket people waiting at the light for playing on their phones. I think they need to make the fine thousands of dollars instead of couple of hundred. It’s almost as bad as drunk driving.

Georgia is a no touching state as well, but people don't care and/or are too lazy to set up Bluetooth on their phones. Probably both.

My daughter was 11 before she found out you could put a phone, to, your ear! My wife and her always speakerphone and facetime calls created a monster! They'd facetime eachother from other sides of the house, on speaker! Then yell louder than the phones.

Yeah, that. I just didn't want to be the one to say it, this time I'm pretty sure not one yield sign ticket has ever been written either. But I have managed THREE California stop tickets at the same stop sign in 15 years turning in my neighborhood.

Coming out of a 2014 that had basic bluetooth tech, I love not having to touch my phone while driving.

I see too many drivers in luxury cars holding their phone to their ear. Mind blowing how stupid and dangerous they are.
