Door Key Pad opens the Frunk!

Code plus 3-4 unlocks the tale gate of my 22. 7-8 does frunk.

And 8 + 9, locks the MME. Nice to know if want to lock the car when running. Like when dog is in the car when run into a store. Be nice if there was a published list of all the codes, short cuts, in one place.

I use the lock function all the time. I work late nights and don't like the horn blast from walking away at 2 in the morning.

Why not just press the little lock button below the number keys?

Ford says 5-6 will work for the trunk. But, to the best of my knowledge, it doesn’t actually work.

I tried the frunk, and that opened, but the hatch never did using 5-6 on my 2021 MME

No, my keypad never opened the hatch

I just push the lock button on the interior door panel as I am opening the door. Then I get out and close the door. It’s locked. No horn blast. No needing to stop after closing the door to press the keypad. Easy-peasy. I’m an old dog so easy is best. ??

On my '21 Select (Job 1), 3-4 flashes some of the lights, 5-6 does nothing, 7-8 opens the frunk (just since the last OTA), 8&9 lock the car. I'm surprised how often I open the frunk from the keypad!

Not anymore! It use too but the updated software changed that. I can only up the frunk using 7-8 but nothing happens when in press 5-6

Same here.

I have a Job 1 2021 and the 5 doesn't open the tailgate. Up until recently the 7-8 didn't open the Frunk a software update finally allowed it, but I think it broke the 5 button to unlock the tailgate.

ENTER 5-digit personal CODE to unlock car, mirrors swivel, then press 5-6 button tailgate opens

ENTER 5-digit personal CODE to unlock car, mirrors swivel, then press 7-8 button frunk opens

I have a job 1 2021 Premium and all of those work except the 5 button doesn't open the tailgate.
