I leave my car parked outside (as my wife constantly remind me its full of crap I don't use) and its getting to 90's here in FL, never seen a drop of more than 1% from 85% charge

In terms of something draining the battery, I once had the car leave the lights on after It auto locked (has not happened again) and even then 20% is to much

Sounds like Car/Ford Pass reporting wrong charge?

Your milage/kw is somewhat low in highway but from your profile pic it looks like you are used to going really fast ;)
There is definitely something wrong in software communicating to the DC fast chargers and/or the software in general for charging. If all I have is Fordpass and it says 100% charged at 8am and here we are nearly noon still charging, that's a problem. There's gotta be an explanation for this.

and thank you. I had the privilege of flying an F-16 in that shot. One of the most exciting days of my life.

With the Ford Mobile Charger, there is no info you can access except with FordPass.

To eliminate one possibility, do you have a Precon schedule set?

I will check. Don't even know how to set that upto be honest with you, but I've used the pre-start while on the charger (got a note from Fordpass saying pre-start on a charger can help with battery life in the cold) and both times I got the faults for the suspension fault/error so I haven't used it since.

Went to run into work and the light on the car now isnt even on. Typically when done charging the ring around the lock/unlock is white. App still says it was charging. I dunno.

I don't see a precondition option so pretty sure I don't have it setup. No departure times or charging times or similar setup.

So it looks like my vehicle is throwing a DTC involving charging with an existing TSB for it (had multiple forum members reach out, so thank you very much). My local dealership is going to "talk with the service manager" about it as they apparently do not have any appointments until July and since my car "can charge", even if I can get stuck on travel using superchargers, they're not seeing it as a major issue.

I wish if Ford can't service these vehicles, they'd stop selling them to people. I know people are sick of people griping about the service wait times and the stress they're under, but it is what it is. It shouldn't take 45+ days to get a car looked at for a software update that affects the car being able to charge/drive. They also had the car for nearly two weeks already. Why not do software updates for these TSBs to prevent these type of issues from popping up? Is there anyone within 50 miles of 38449 that has the ability to do software updates that would be willing to take $$ or a case of beer to do this TSB software update ( SOBDM ) just to see if it will correct the issue? Will keep you posted on this.

The DTC popped up the day I went down and used a DC Fast Charger for the first time.

I appreciate it but I can't rely on a dealership nearly 4 hours away. I don't even know how I would realistically/reliably get there if I am having DC fast charger errors.

Another dealer was able to get me in this week and update multiple modules. Super courteous just hate they're 20 miles in the wrong direction. Have a week long drill coming up so will get to test the dc fast chargers and random hotel chargers. Will report back.

Highly recommend Sharp in Pulaski. Got me in same week and were very courteous/helpful.

Still working with dealer, but man these charging faults are beyond frustrating and will end up getting us stranded. There's not a lot of fast chargers down here in the south, so it is definitely stressful for drill. Took over 40 minutes of tech support and trying 3 chargers to get one to work (Electrify America/Ford Blue Oval). Only gave around 30kwh of power on average on a 150kwh station. Kia EV6 rolled up in a station that wouldn't work with my vehicle and got full 120+kwh power the entire charge so it definitely isn't the station. Charged 20-80% in literal minutes whereas 40-78% took hour+ for me. Tons of charging faults/ DTCs thrown/etc.

Dealer already did numerous software updates, but what is the next step? They're not responding to emails, but I plan to just drive by again Monday when I am back home and off orders.

Has anyone had to replace any components and have success from that?

Taking a look, it seems you have a new SOBDM code, P0D56:64 Proximity Detection Circuit 'A': Signal Plausibility Failure. This means there were dropouts of the pilot signal while Level 2 charging.

Thinking about this, I think you have a bad connection somewhere. It could be your charging port that's making a bad connection to the charger, or your SOBDM (on-board charger) is bad and needs to be replaced, or possibly the OBCC module. Either of those going bad might interfere with the PLC signals being sent to the DC fast charger, which would cause it to fail erratically like you've seen. There have been a few cases of bad chargers needing to be replaced on the forum.

Thank you for that info. I am going to take it to the dealer again whenever they'll work me in and try to push for something more than just more software updates.

Im not expecting perfection but having to stand out in the heat for 40+ minutes everytime I use a fast charger is beyond frustrating. All 4 chargers were taken this time and when I finally got one to work I mean you're talking 2-3 hours from beginning to end. Then driving 30-40 miles and having to start planning out another stop. It's not realistic or sustainable. On a 250 mile drive for drill. I use up 100-120 to make it from TN to Bham. Spend hour+ to get from there to Montgomery. Then spend hour(s) getting it to work. So I can have enough range to work through drill week/weekend to then go back and repeat to get home. Spend hours charging on a 4 hour drive.

I've just gotta get a no shit answer on this hopefully soon because for my situation this isn't working. Appreciate the information and hope to report back good news soon

Thank you very much for looking into this for me. I've tried 7 different stations at 2 different EA locations all week now (montgomery and alabaster) and nothing will let it charge over 39kwh. Regardless of using a 150kwh machine or a 350kwh machine. Once I started paying attention I watched it ramp up quickly to almost 50kwh and immediately pull back to around 35-38kwh and stay there. Have a beautiful grabber blue mach E GT right beside me pulling 158kwh at the exact same station so it isn't EA. Just trying to charge and get home now, but will take almost 1.5 hours to get enough range at this rate. Just frustrating. Hopefully Ford or my dealer will respond quickly so I can get it fixed before next drill.

Update: still chargin and had a nice family show up in a mach e select on the same charger I got 38kwh on getting 90+. So it definitely is something on board. Charged 45-80% same time its taken me to reach 50-67%. Super frustrating
