Sure, but do you really want to give up so much storage space so you can add no more than about 9 miles to your range, much of which you would probably lose by hauling an extra 100 pounds around all the time. I mean, if you're seriously concerned about an extra 9 miles, you could just drive a few mph slower; accelerate a bit less; turn the heat down a degree or two.I'm not talking about getting more energy by pulling it out from the battery faster- I'm talking about not waiting around forever to charge, and also to reduce conversion losses between AC and DC.
