Darn strange. My 23 MME (I've had it for 9 months now) just started doing the same thing: Electrical System drain service soon light has been coming on time from time about 4 days ago, also will not allow automatic updates on the big screen, and Ford Pass app on cell phone hasn't updated in four days. I have a call into the dealer.

Has yours since dealer returned car, given you problems?
Sorry to hear you caught it too!

The car hasn't had a single issue since August 24th, so a solid month now. No idea what caused it, or what "fixed" it, but I'd recommend:

  • Disable all welcome lighting, walk away lighting, etc. Maybe also bluetooth pairing if you park near your car regularly? We use the cord for Apple Car Play now.
  • Charge the heck out of your 12v battery per Mach-Lee's thread. As discussed here, my battery tender was probably too slow, but it got the job done eventually?
  • Hope it gets better?

I just checked yours again, everything looks 100% normal. Telemetry is working and you just got the 5.1.1 OTA. 12V battery reported at 99%, are you keeping it on the Tender?

So literally just charging up the battery and shutting off those settings fixed it? I like to get confirmation of what works.

Thanks for checking!

I haven't used the battery tender since getting it back from the dealer. I want to see the issue again if there is one, rather than paper it over with constant external charging. The car is plugged in for HVB charging right now though, fwiw.

And yes, "fixing" it was just battery charging and disabling settings. I disabled:
  • Welcome lighting
  • Walk away lighting
  • All alarms and sensors that I could
  • Wireless apple car play / bluetooth confections to any phone
For charging, it was around a week constantly on a 3 amp battery tender mixed with 3 or so long (4 hours+) sessions of leaving the car turned on in the garage with auto-off disabled. I mixed those let-the-car-charge-the-battery sessions because once after ~36 hours the battery tender stopped charging without hitting 100% because it had taken too long, and I wanted to try something else before buying a stronger battery charger.
