Lol. Yeah, I don't think PG&E that doesn't even know what cars we own is doing anything. I'm pretty sure my insurance carrier would have to disclose anything like that as well, and they haven't.
I just read the revised FordPass privacy policy -- tried to read the gobbledygook legalese as carefully as my patience would allow (I'm a retired attorney -- emphasis on retired😀). My primary aim was to understand whether Ford shares my driving data with insurers. Best I can tell, they don't. But it's not explicitly stated so they could very well could be doing so under cover of very broad & vague language.

I had the same notification issue with my 2023 that I got in Nov 2022.

I would get it randomly starting last year - one time after an hour drive, and then maybe 2-3 times total throughout 2024.

I have no devices plugged in, all factory equipment, no dash cam, no modifications. The car is driven every day and charged every night or every other night. We don't really use PAAK, but we didn't disable it, nor do we put the keyfobs a sealed box.

Starting in July, I was getting the notification every 2 or so weeks. Took it to Ford, but they couldn't find anything after running their tests. I'd been wanting to replace the battery anyway as I go into the car's 4th winter so I asked them to (free install, just cost the battery, so why not).

Knock on wood, since the replacement, we haven't gotten the message. It's been almost 1.5 months now.

We have a 2025 GT that we took delivery of on June 5th. It only has 888 miles as we don't drive it much. This morning I went to back it out of the garage and this warning keeps popping up. Is this just the LVB not charged up enough because we don't use the car as much as our other vehicle? If so, what's the best way you guys have found to use a maintenance charger periodically on the LVB to keep the charge up on it.? I know it's under the Frunk trim on the left side. Does the LVB get any charge from the system when a L2 charger is connected, or only when you are driving?
Go through the list here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...-system-drain-service-required-message.36140/

I would also recommend you get the 12 V recall update done as soon as possible. That will help keep the 12 V battery charged more.

Yes, I should have clarified earlier that the car won't just automatically keep your 12v going. I assumed you had been leaving the car on a charger (which is what I try and do). If you're regularly letting the car sit, off a charger, for extended periods of time that can definitely wear down the 12v.
