Enhance Temperature Controls

Rather than just “start” my car and “scheduled” leave times. A feature to turn on the heat or AC independently would be welcomed. I should be able to easily push a button to warm or cool the cabin. I mean, I can pop the trunk, roll down windows, but can't get my cabin comfy easily before I get in.

Note. This should include turning on/off the seat warmers and steering wheel warmer.

“Start” only turns on temperature controls to the last settings
“Scheduled Departure” is not very useful. Takes too long. And doesn't include seat warmers.

Again, should be a low hanging fruit feature easily done OTA

Yes, I'm sure FordPass is aware of requests like these. I've seen prior posts asking for exactly this. It would be a great enhancement.

We'll see how 'soon' they can roll out something like this.

Remote start can be set to Auto or Last Settings.
Departure times turn on my seat and wheel heaters.
Perhaps you would be better served by spending some time learning how your car works rather than starting multiple threads on the forum.

It would be a great feature to have access to. I agree. My wife's Tesla has this option, and being able to choose which seat warmer to turn on is a nice plus as well.
I have found that remote start is smart enough in the winter to turn on the seat heater and heat the car, and in the summer, the AC. It's the in-between seasons that I start my car remotely because I am cold just to get to the car, and the AC is on.

Far too many features can only be indirectly adjusted - both from Ford Pass and when you are in the car. Or require 3 steps to do one thing.

Remote start does fine with AUTO settings. Works for me, seat and wheel turn on when it’s cold out.

It would be a great feature to have access to. I agree. My wife's Tesla has this option, and being able to choose which seat warmer to turn on is a nice plus as well.

It sounds like you have the remote start climate set to Auto. You may be happier if you switch to Last Settings.

You are correct. I do have it set to Auto. I forgot about the "Last Setting". Maybe I will try that during the in-between season. Thanks!

When you own a Tesla and a Mach E... You miss certain things when driving the Mach E. Lst setting doesn't cut it. My last setting it was 80 degrees. I wake up its 50 degrees. I don't want the air on... I want the heat on and seat warmers on. And since I'm leaving at a different time I don't want to go through the hassle of editing a departure time. I want to warm my cabin now.

Love thel the answers. Bottom line is. Update the tech. Love my Mach E. It's just falling short on the tech in a few places.

I 100% agree and yes you can set to Auto climate and also departure times does turn on my seat warmers WHEN IT WORKS! Half the time for me even tho I set my departure time to warm, I get in the car and its blowing cold air and the warmers are off. They really need to fix it. PS the Tesla does this just fine btw. You can click into the car and set EVERY temperature including just turning on the seat warmers if you want to. Just sayin lol

Except for me, Departure time only works like 25% of the time. Even tho I have it clear set to warm, I get in the car and the cold air is blowing and the sear warmers are off. If it at least worked 100% or even 75% of the time great, but Ford's app and smart systems are far from that right now. Our Tesla does all of this and you can even turn on the seat warmers only if you want. You would think this cant be that hard. They had the Tesla to model after all.

Then just leave the remote start climate on Auto and remote start it 10 minutes before you want to leave. Mine does exactly what you’re describing.

It seems like everyone enjoys the workarounds vs. just having it at your fingertips to really control your car cabin temp on demand. What I hear is, you're a newbie and not intelligent. You can do it this way.

I get that I can do things the "Ford" way. My point is, it is not convenient and not user-friendly. I love the MachE, but unless the tech changes, I might swing towards Tesla or Lucid for my next car because the TECH has many more features that makes it a better experience.

I cant tell if you are agreeing with me or not but yes I don't think it works well in its current state. In fact its pretty frustrating when I set the car's departure time to warm and I get in with cold air blowing and seat warmers off. Workarounds should not be the standard. They already have a model to strive for or improve upon with the Tesla app.

My scheduled departure includes seat warmer. Also, why does it matter how long it takes, you aren't sitting around waiting on it.
