Is it me or are people nitpicking on every detail of the delivered cars...if you look at a new car this way you are never going to enjoy the experience of a spectaculair new car. Furthermore if you don't want this car, fine, move on to a solution and stop posting close-ups from your problems, we can't help you...go to Ford or the dealer?

Pff sorry if I offended anybody but had tot get this out my head.

I feel ya, however, recently taken my 2016 Ford in to get recall work done before I sell it... I can tell the service department in my area is scheduled months out and rarely able to answer my calls.
And with that, I’ve witnessed in this forum more support then I have personally from Ford yet, ?
I don’t have my MME yet but I’ve bought Fords the last decade and this is my first Forum.
I don’t know. Just wanted to commend those who try to help but also chime in, I get it. ?

It is the Mach E forum. It is literally the place to post/discuss about the issues "you" believe you don't like or have problems with

We’ve seen that companies often are slow to respond to issues until they’re raised on social media channels and places like this forum. And the car is brand new, so how else will one come across a solution unless we have a place to raise issues, brainstorm, and share solutions?

Also get a sense that all those who have their car and no issues are on the road somewhere and not here so often.

I agree there seem to be folks expecting absolute perfection and shocked when they don't get it. This is a brand new vehicle with lots of new technology. Those of us who have our cars already received the ones produced in the early production runs when they were still ramping up assembly line throughput. Add in supply issues from COVID-19 and usual issues car companies have with suppliers and there WILL be issues.

As @janitorjim mentioned, this is the place to point out these issues. I agree. However, I also agree with @Marcel that folks are letting these issues kill their enjoyment of this amazing new car.

My philosophy is this: note the issues and post the issues. That helps other members and helps Ford (yes, Ford reads the Forum). Hold Ford responsible for making the car right -- nothing wrong with that at all. Be patient with the realization those parts may not be available right away.

Most important: Enjoy driving your Mustang Mach E!

I do not find it unreasonable to expect that basic functions of the vehicle (HV charging, LV Battery, braking, etc) should function well from day one, and be handled expeditiously by Ford if not. From what I am reading here, quick resolutions are not happening in every case, and rather than criticize those with problems, I am grateful that I am not experiencing those issues. I am optimistic that solutions will be forthcoming, hopefully soon.

Regarding other reported concerns/defects/"nitpicks", everyone here probably has a different assortment, with the most important to them likely being the issues that they experience directly. The MME is probably not much different than many past new vehicle launches, but I think everything is amplified on the forum. This cuts both ways. What someone else thinks is a critical problem may be trivial to me, but I have also learned an incredible amount about both the MME and the buying process from the forum, for which I am very thankful to the folks who took the time to post. If there are posts/threads I find to be hyperbolic or unreasonable, I can easily ignore them. The only ones that annoy me are by people looking to pick a fight, but even those posts can be ignored, so really it's up to me. The forum pretty much exists to allow people to discuss the car.

Thanks to all for posting your experiences, good and bad, and for those with longstanding unsolved problems preventing you from enjoying your Mach E, I hope you receive a resolution soon. It seems to me that "moving on" from a car would be very difficult if you've already purchased it.

Having been on many different forums (not just cars), one thing that this forum could use more of would be a sticky / wiki section for common issues. Searching every time for info is tedious. I have learned far more about the MME here than from Ford, and I value that input greatly. If newbies had an easier time getting answers, rather than posting the same questions, I suspect there would be more "happiness" here. The more I drive my car, the more I like it, but there definitely is a learning curve with all of the features and new tech involved. That goes double for those for who this is their first EV.

Not just that, but deliveries are technically still trickling in.... and lots of people are getting their cars now after having waited many months.

I was lucky to get it at the start of February and I was here to talk about all my problems pretty quickly, but either I have learned to live with them or they got fixed (Android Auto Issues)... well, I don't have much to say anymore :D I'm loving the car, the drive, just did a huge roadtrip this past week-end and everything was fine!

I used to be logged on this forum every day, now I come once a week to check out stuff.

Just makes sense that people who waited so long to get their cars and have some issues come to talk about it or at lest come to ask other owners about them to see if there are any issues.

I think the bigger issue is that there are many new users and many current users dont use the search or just tend click on the "whats new" button instead of going to the main forum page so there is a lot of repetitive posts. The posts with fixes and issues tend end up lower on the totem poll because of the increased activity

I haven’t received my vehicle yet (“any day now” according to the tracker ?). That said, I bought my vehicle violating my cardinal rule of buying new cars - never buy the first model year of a new car; especially not the first run of that car. I have expectations of some speed bumps.
That said, Ford has been assembling cars for a couple of years ? I DO expect them to get the BASICS of putting a car together right - good paint job and quality; high quality fit and finish; no glaring misalignments or odd gaps; basic checking of functionality before it leaves the plant. I ALSO expect my “quality plus Ford dealer” to do a thorough receiving inspection and correct/disclose any issues they uncover before delivering the vehicle to me. At that point, if I find the software is acting screwy, or Ford didn’t properly provision the Qi charger for an iPhone 12 Pro Max or the brake adjustment seems off, or there seems to be excessive cabin noise, or a piece of trim falls off, or the car just generally does something “wrong”, well, off to the dealer and “yes, I WILL need a service loaner, thank you very much.” And that’s what I get for breaking my own rule ?
Now, hurry up and get here already ???

Agreed that the forum could benefit from a stronger management of the threads, however, I can see that would be a full time job for someone (along with others to help). Does that make sense financially? Is there enough incentive to go that route given the amount of advertising monies collected?

Would it require some heavy handed oversight? That might ruffle feathers of folks who have been here from the start, who have become used to the laissez-faire style. In fairness, I am not pointing fingers any further than myself in this respect. I have tried to start new threads when I have something new to add. But I have posted off topic as often as I have complained to myself about it. I only recently realized that one can add search tags to a post. That might be a point of administrative involvement.

I have had Administration take down posts of mine that are clearly duplicative of posts by another, so there is an effort to keep things from going totally out of control. [I swear I do a cursory check to see if the information is already up, but struggle to find things here as well.] But things like the list of VINs/orders/deliveries seems to not be regularly updated despite [in my case] having submitted information for update. I don't hold any ill feelings. I just assume the Administration is doing this as a passion of their heart and making their best effort.
