We have the extended range battery. When we drive by the book the car will give an estimated range of 330+- at 90%.
This is due to FLORIDA. FLAT, HOT.

I have the same car. Couldn't hit that number if I wanted to.

We have roads that go up, and go down. ;)

I drive with an insurance app and have to drive like my age. It said 351 miles this morning at 90%.

Good point. Maybe we need to step it up.
Or they could just go full on Tesla with the GOM and fix it at EPA rated range for the year and version. Then everyone will just be thinking their driving sucks or marveling at their superior driving skills. Panel gaps optional.

Yeah, I will never willingly let an insurance company or a government monitor my driving. If they catch me breaking a law with an actual LEO on on the streets, I will submit to the consequences. But proactively monitoring my movements, my speed, my trips and my destinations? No f-ing way.

I am baffled by the insurance costs I see on here. In Southern Ontario Canada, I am paying (in Canadian $, so reduce by 25% or so to get US equivalent) $1128.00 per year for my 2022 Mach E Premium ER AWD plus my 2011 Grand Caravan, with very full coverage. $500.00 deductibles, $2M liability etc.. Dropping the 2009 Caravan and adding the 2023 Mach E only added $250.00 or so per year.

I am curious to hear of insurance costs from Canadians in other jurisdictions...

I also have an extended range battery, yet I haven’t gotten close to 300, much less 312. I’m in upstate NY and it’s been in the 50s. Car is only ten days old and I’m sad that I don’t have the range I expected. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have a 2021 Mach Ex - In Florida - Have had up to 400 miles on a full charge & as Low as 318 - I drive like a Grandma most times - Weather, Driving is HUGE in swings on this
