It was working yesterday. Today it no longer lists battery upon arrival. Did a soft reset. Deleted and re adds the phone. Any thoughts?

It was in mine today. Of course, it was wrong. But it was there.

Thanks. It’s weird. It looks like Apple Maps updated somewhat. There was not an iOS update and no ford update. So I am at a loss of what happened.

And just like that it’s back! Very strange.

I wish it would stay gone.
The distance and time left is much more useful information.

When you go to navigate somewhere on your iPhone, when it shows the preview of the route and before you hit "GO", there is a drop down that says "Different Car" or will say "Mustang Mach-E".

If it's on "Different Car", it won't show battery level. I noticed that when I drive my F-150 it seems to automatically switch to "Different Car" and then typically seems to switch to the MME if it connects to it again on CarPlay. Likely Apple's response to people constantly getting notices that their battery is out of date when navigating in a different vehicle.

In any case, I would make sure the next time it happens that before you set the route it has the MME option selected.

Thank you I’m always amazed at the assistance and knowledge this board has. I swear I tried everything. I’ll take a look at it later today. Thanks again.

Is your remaining distance not displayed in the IPC?

Check the maps app to see if the app is still linked to the MME.

I had a 2021 Mach-E and noticed this "different car" option some time ago. Then, I traded for a new Mach-E. Apple maps still showed my old Mach-E along with "different car" but didn't show my new Mach-E. So, I deleted the entry for my old Mach-E. Apple Maps no longer shows the "different car" choice, nor does it recognize my new Mach-E. I deleted my phone from the new Mach-E and added it back; Maps still doesn't show any battery info, although it works fine for navigation.

How do I get maps to recognize my new Mach-E as an EV?

Try deleting any Mach-E entries in maps, delete any Bluetooth entries for Mach-E, go into CarPlay settings and delete any Mach-E entries, go in the car and delete your phone from the phone list, restart your phone, set up CarPlay again, open maps on your phone while connected to CarPlay and it should hopefully prompt you to connect to EV routing again.

You might need to go into your profile in maps app and select vehicles to add it.
