Fender light won't turn off - suggestions?

B/c I'm not educated in all this - what's so bad about it?

I guess nothing if you don't mind the light being on. I just wanted it to be perfect but couldn't figure out the install after he took down the guides. I just removed it all

I'm not an electrical engineer, just to get that out of the way. But the Body Control Module (BCM) is a computer used to control the various items in the car like the lighting. It's not meant to have power back-fed through its outputs. I'm sure there's some level of protection, but long term this could be damaging to the various transistors that control the outputs.
