So I have these collapsible crates I use to store stuff, but they tend to fly around the cargo area, especially when empty. So I've been looking for a solution and striking out with the Mach E and it's lack of tie down locations, and I didn't want to put screws into the interior molding. So I finally tried this cargo net and it works great!!

Bought on Amazon $25: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NH1Y8K8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Also crate link (not exact one I have but same brand) these are great! https://www.amazon.com/CleverMade-4...words=collapsible+crate&qid=1675639606&sr=8-7

It uses elastic bands to hold onto the cargo floor vs tying into anchor points. So far it works great!

Here's some pics:

Looks great. Because the cargo net is only held in place with friction, instead of with hooks, does the loop under the floor tend to slide forward or backward?

No it has stayed pretty well static. The bands pretty much go from back to front on each side, so they keep the forward/reverse stability, laterally they have a little bit of movement, but its so tight that I haven't noticed much if any. Overall it has worked for my needs.

I did use the above-mentioned moveable floor bandaround cargo net for about six months until I mounted my Ford OEM front trunk cargo rings (separate thread). Now, I prefer this one:

AUDI Genuine 4L08618694PK Cargo Net

Audi dealer here quoted over $300 for it (haha... of course). Online, they are available for about $185 - $190. That's how I got mine. Well-made, well worth it for larger loads. See pix below.
