Disappointing report about the ride quality. What I want is a car that is as fun to drive as my Mach-E but has the quiet cabin and plush ride of my EV9.

I really like the steering wheel stalk. I also have a Tesla Model Y and this is very similar to that so I'm used to it. I like the extra space to store stuff in the middle console.
Have not sat in a '25 Mach-E yet and probably won't until ours arrives, but I'd say the stalk shifter is superior. I never liked the rotary dial on the console and we have/ had it in other vehicles. It's just a poor use of space. Kinda like the shifter in my Lightning... Just why? And then it has to do that gimmicky electronic folding itself in so I can fold the console lid out into the work surface. Stalk shifters have been a thing for decades and, IMO, are a great place to put that. ...Or Ford could use the push button gear select like they do in the Lincolns. That's nice and unobtrusive too.

Um... That's a big ask. That's probably in the territory of the 2026 Polestar 4 when they add the air suspension as an option. The Mach-E rides stiff and sporty because that's what they're trying to achieve. The best ride you're going to get in a Mach-E is in the Rally version where it has the extra 30mm-ish of suspension travel combined with the MagnaRide. Even then, it's still quite stiff. As rough as the Mach-E is, it's still a noticeably better ride than its primary competitor -- the Model Y. And, IMO, the '24 GT rides nicer than the Porsche Macan EV, even though the Porsche does grip the road better on curves and corners, in typical Porsche fashion. ...Nice car, my wife is trying to justify one with the delays on the '25 MME we've ordered. But really, aside from the nicer interior and a few other creature comforts, it's just not worth double the price.

The EV6 has a softer ride than the MME but it isn't as fun to drive, IMO. It's also a more expensive car vs. the '25 MME pricing.

What about the GV60 Performance? I'm sorry I can't help you with its looks.

There are definitely a lot of nice improvements.
Any chance the touchscreen is snappier to operate?

I won't buy another Mach-E unless the touchscreen is more responsive. Seems like it takes 5 seconds to change the radio station but may be closer to 3.

I tried to test it but I couldn't use Android Auto since my phone wasn't synced with the car for a test drive. Switching between Android Auto and the other screens is really where our cars suck. Otherwise it seemed ok. Can't really say if it was better or not.

hmmmm....a little less harsh is not good enough.
Much of the reason for the harsh drive are the tires. Low profile tires on big ass wheels make the ride feel rough. When I get new wheels on mine I’ll be going for 18in wheels if they’ll fit around the brakes

Hmmm. Maybe something is wrong with mine. I recall a thread a while back that they all (non-GT AWD) have a front whine that was “normal”. Mine has a somewhat piercing and distinctive high-pitched whine. It’s really unpleasant, to put it kindly. It’s loudest between about 27 and 33 mph, worst at 30-31.
They need to take a hearing test. All Mach-Es have that whine.

It's actually pretty significant where the 24 performance upgrade GT is faster off the line over the 21-23 GTPE. My best 60ft is 1.71 in my 24. I've never seena GTPE pull better than a 1.8xx 60ft. That extra 70tq is there. From there it just gets worse for the 21-23 lol
It was night and day when I installed the perf upgrade and Pirelli tires on my 24. I have not done a proper WOT to know the real difference, but can feel it every time I hit the accelerator pedal.

To get equivalent performance, the turbo is $130k. There is no planet where I would pay that price even if I could afford it.

I don't use the built-in radio app as I prefer my Apple Music and Audible apps vis CarPlay, but are you listening to the satellite radio? I've had that in a few cars and it always takes a few seconds to switch stations...

The brakes on the 2024+ GT are huge. Some 19" wheels will not fit and some will. There are zero 18" wheels that will fit. If there were any, the Rally would have gotten 18" wheels. ??

I've been pleased with the ride quality of the MME Rally's 19-inchers and noted one other bonus in the Trader Joe's parking lot the other day - The meaty Michelin CrossClimate2 tires also do a fair job of protecting the wheels from getting curbed! Not yet fully accustomed to driving SUVs (even "compact crossovers" like the MME seem enormous to me), I hit a curb hard in the parking lot, and was convinced I must have seriously scraped the wheels, but when I got out and looked? Nothing! not a scratch. An MYP with "$Ăśberturbine$" 21-inch wheels (wrapped with rubberbands instead of proper tires) would've been scraped all to hell and gone...

Sidewalls, people! They serve many useful purposes!

LOL my MME is teensy-weensy compared to the “little” 1969 Cadillac. ??

My Blazer has big sidewalls since it has 15x10 wheels. It takes a big rock to damage one of those wheels. I didn’t even hurt a wheel sliding the thing sideways into a tree. The driver’s door, rocker panel, and fender on the other hand… ??
