That's the dealership, not Ford.

For YEARS I took my Focus EV into the dealer for it's 5k "tune up. They ALWAYS charged me for an oil change, then forked around for 30 min trying to figure out how to fix the bill for it's 5k tire rotation. I only ever took it in because it was a lease and expected they'd have some idea of what they were doing. I was wrong.

I've gotten this as well... I went through the pain to contact them and get my car flagged as an EV. Shouldn't have to do that I would think, but its done now and the calls/emails have stopped.

I got this today, too. I think it was just a mass mailing to folks with a Ford.com/FordPass account.

I got a card in the mail yesterday from my dealer that some repairs I had covered by my factory warranty would have cost over $500 if I didn't have it. I'm not sure if that was the recall work I had completed or the diagnostic they did to tell me that my performance tires slip when it's cold. At least for the tire diagnostic they could have charged me something.

I keep getting offers from Jeep to trade in my 2005 Grand Cherokee, that I dropped off when the lease ended in 2008! And they come from dealers close to my current zip, no where near the original dealer (Alabama) or drop off (PA)

My 2016 Fusion Energi was totaled in April 2020. I've gone to the dealer to have it removed from my "history", and yet every few months I get an email that I better order the last available SD card to update my onboard maps. I tried calling HERE to have them stop, but they blame Ford. Ford blames HERE. ?‍♂I'm just glad that there won't be any more updates of the map, because then maybe the emails will stop. There's no way to opt out of just map update emails - you are removed from all Ford emails if you unsubscribe.

I just let them change the oil. They only charged me for the tire rotation. I got a free oil change.

I still get oil change and happy birthday notices from a Honda dealership. It's in regard to a Honda Accord I purchased back in 2018. Sold the thing in 2020. I've tried removing myself from their mailing list 100 times.

When we purchased our Mach E in June, I mentioned that some dealers were trying to get new EV owners to sign up for an oil change package. We laughed. Then, ten minutes late I looked over the purchase agreement and there it was: 5 oil changes for $99 package. They quickly redid the paperwork.
