Ford account security improves again: Passkey option on website

Want to give props to @Ford Motor Company for adding Passkey support on the Ford website. This adds another option to secure your account building on the additional 2FA/MFA support added last year.

I didn't get a notice from Ford about this addition - just noticed it when logging in recently to check on something. Passkey support appears to be only on the ford.com websites right now - at least my Android Ford app (v6.3.0) doesn't show the Passkey option upon login when I checked this morning.

Companies don't get enough credit for adding security layers to our digital services and since I complained about it to Ford last year when the 2FA/MFA arrived I wanted to call it out when they made it available.

lol, and today i received the below email for the update - happy to see this stance and it rolling out via communications from @Ford Motor Company.

I happened to notice this while logging in to Ford.com last night, and I set it up. Very easy!

I haven't received any email about it though. Maybe those trickle out.
