Anyone think they'll start giving them away again once they get thru the backlog? Probably not. I am outside the window and will hardly ever use public chargers but it would be nice to have one just in case.
I bought my car 3 weeks ago and work for dealership and asked if I would be receiving one, I was told no the Sept 30 date was a hard date for the adapters.
Here is the latest info dated 10/31/24

A2ZEV makes the Typhoon Pro adapter for Tesla SuperChargers. It sells for $189.00 ($170.10 after using code FORDFORUM). They also sell the Stellar adapter, which is for Tesla Destination chargers (such as hotels, private homes). It sells for $108. If you pick use the dropdown menu on the Typhoon Pro page to pick the Stellar adapter also, the combined price is $270.00 ($243.00 with code FORDFORUM). In other words, it’s only $72.90 more for the destination charging adapter. They are currently shipping quickly. I have both adapters and have used both many times. Anyone who got the email on Friday been able to track the shipment? When I click the "track package" button in the email, I get sent to Fedex and receive a "your tracking number can't be found" message. Since Ford seems to be hiding the actual tracking number, I can't check directly. Seems like it should be in the system by now...

I got the "label created" message from fedex on friday and then the email from ford later same day. It went straight from label created to "out for delivery" on tuesday. Prior to that I couldn't check the status on fedex app or the ford link. So I wouldn't worry too much, you should be getting it in the next day or two. Do you have the fedex app? That might be a bit more info but possibly not.

I received mine, too. Did yours come with a FedEx label to ship back the defective one? I don't think I did.
