I am visiting friends and they let me plug my 23 March e Select in their garage 110 outlet with the Ford Mobile Charger. I notice that when the vehicle reached 100 percent of charge the miles range was only 190 not 230 that it is normally. Does anyone know what is going on?

What's going on is that you are a new owner that hasn't yet figured out how the GOM (Guess-O-Meter) works. Hundreds of posts here on that. Drive faster, shows less range. Cold weather, shows less range. Reset EV Driving History, shows EPA range, which is meaningless.

So I have to do what to fix it? I have to drive home some 400 miles and don't want to stop at every charging station on the way

The cars battery meter is more like a guessing meter - it collects data on how you drive then spits out a number it thinks you will get.

Just like with gas cars, there is no exact amount you will get. When you drive fast, you use more gas and more battery, when you drive down hill you use less gas and less battery. Etc.

There is no "fixing" it.

Just put the destination in Apple maps or the vehicle’s trip app. Most likely you’ll have to stop 2-3 times for about 15-20m each. Not bad for bathroom breaks or eat a bite.
When you are back home, reset driver’s history and then guess-o-meter range will go back to normal over time.

Unless your drive home is significantly different than your drive there (one way was down hill, one is up).

Most likely you will need to charge equally as much as you did to get there. The range will adjust as you drive.
