Ford pauses online reservations for the Bronco (detroitnews.com)
Ford is putting the brakes on orders for the new Bronco unless you go through the dealer. I also saw a recent picture of F-150's parked at the Kentucky Speedway waiting for chips. How long until Ford has to shut plants as they cannot deliver completed vehicles?
If they were to get a flood of chips or find a new supplier that they could adapt their vehicles to, they would have a flood of cars and trucks. We could face the opposite of today's situation - too many to sell and prices would drop. Keep a list of the ADM dealers and make sure they pay a price if that happens. This is reminding me of the situation in 1982 when Chevy could not give away cars. My college roommate got a smoking deal on a Camaro, but said only if they let me test a Corvette. The lot was full and they had 2 trucks full of cars parked on the street in front of the dealer.
