1 - Yes I can confirm that the MSRP price of the car is $1 more than the dealership pays for it.I can assure you they are making more than $1 on that "invoice"/MSRP-priced MME.
2 - You flat out say they made money on the lease. Well of course, you're paying a finance charge and dealerships would 100% rather finance a car than have someone pay cash for it. They make money on the finance deal.
3 - As for bonuses and "spiffs". I'm unaware of any for MachE's at this point although there could be.
4 - A dealership is a business, in business to make money. I'm not opposed to ADM, so long as it's reasonable. But again, if you don't want to pay ADM go somewhere else.
