Ford Power-Up Version 4.2.3 is here

I have responded 3 times. This thread is about a specific powerup 4.2.3, and now others who are curious have to sort through garbage. Create new thread "why I am so smart and ford should listen to me on how to do software releases" then I dont have to get notifications on it.

I apologize, I got you confused with the other people who have responded 27 times to me. It takes two to tango (or more in this case), why don't you complain to them too?

We definitely get it at this point. You both don’t understand and don’t like how Ford rolls out updates.

The not understanding is……. Understandable. They don’t tell us the “why” behind who gets updates when. But we do know that EA get them first and different model years, trims, and options get them at different times. We also know that even people with the same cars still get them in batches.

Why? Because that’s just how Ford decided to do it.

What can you do about it? Other than enroll in EA…… absolutely nothing.

And again, the 1 person you THINK has the same car as you and got the update before you…….. enrolled in EA and may have different options.

You may be mad about nothing.

I have ample evidence to label you people as fanboys because you constantly bend over backwards to defend asinine update processes, even when faced with evidence to the contrary.

But if you guys want to pretend you have my genuine psychological interest at heart because you think I'm distressed over of my car's software updates, sure, go right ahead and pretend that. Thank you for your *genuine* concern.

Even so, three months difference in software updates is ridiculous, and the fact that FOUR software updates have been pushed beyond the one I just got is also ridiculous. This is not "nothing".

Honestly Mike, he seems to be angry that he doesn't get the OTAs at the same time as <pick subcategory of mach-e's>. Apparently, they believe that OTAs should be delivered all at once. Seems he got this update 2 months after someone else (who may or may not have been in EA). That puts the complaint he had with timing square with when I got this update and I've been in earlier EA of late.

My only point was that this was an obvious sore spot and overriding consideration for him and why wouldn't he just move on if it was causing him that much grief? Tesla makes a car that loads of people adore, those might meet his expectations better. Also apparently, that comment makes me a Ford Fanboi and probably a Ford enabler and stuff. He's joined my ignore list which had been just banned people. No longer.

It doesn’t give me that much grief. i made one simple comment in this thread about the update taking forever to deliver, and that was going to be the end of it. no more than many other users on this forum have voiced on multiple occasions already.

What “gives me grief” is fanboys like you who immediately claimed that to be a GOOD thing, followed by every single excuse in the book for justifying one of the worst software update rollouts on the planet.


Also y’all can stop tone policing and playing internet psychologist already. I am perfectly capable of deciding when i need to buy another car.
