Ford Revising the GOM Again?

I got the message about the GOM change in FP today for my 2022 GT that is in EA, however I don't yet have 4.2.6 and it's not queued up, as far as I can tell.

Will the GOM updates only occur if your put your destination into the Ford Nav? If you don't (either because you're using your phone's Nav or actually know where you're going) will the GOM just act like it always has, showing range based on driving SoC, history, temperature, etc.?

So they are interconnecting the MME nav routing system and GOM via cloud services. So if you use Google or Apple Maps with Car Play, or have no active MME navigation route GOM will not be adjusted.

I thought we wouldn't see anything different unless and until, while having a destination programmed in the onboard SYNC navigation, the algorithm decides that your GOM estimate needs to be updated.

If someone gets a range correction message pop up, please post and let us know. Until then, I don’t believe intelligent range has actually been turned on yet. I haven’t seen any evidence of it working.

Yep that's what I'm talking about. Nobody has observed it actually working that I can tell. I cut them some slack for messaging in the past, but notifying owners about features they don't have is a pretty big goof.

It downloaded last week, but I am waiting to install.

Just to clarify, This does NOT require a destination set in nav to work. It will adjust based on a NAV destination, but it will also adjust based on external temps as well with no destination.

I still have not gotten the popup yet to indicate it is on. This was an issue on the initial testing, where they said it was on, but actually wasn't.

Same for me. Got a message and range was decreased when I put a destination in the mountains.

I got my first range revised message this week with a destination in the car's nav.
