For most people this thread will be meaningless to them specifically, but in the grand scheme of things it's a good thing.
Ford is currently in the beta testing phase of releasing the FordConnect API to the Developer Marketplace. They have created a prototype environment and are gathering moderated data from API users to enhance the experience. There's no time line as of now for a public release of the API, but this is all positive news for Ford owners as it will expand third party access and tools to enhance the ownership experience.
