Ford website's order tracker

I've tried plugging in my info on Ford's order tracker and it just sits there with the pending Ford logo and never actually does anything else. I've now tried this 7 or 8 times on different days and different times. Any suggestions?

This site is a waste of time, because it does not work. At least I can't get it to work.

They need to hire several now! Driving me crazy with these non-working sites.

It works for me 1 out of 500 times. Rest it blank out the fields. Today it works.

I've checked the order tracker maybe 50 or more times since November and it always boots up. Scheduled for build next week so we'll see if it updates. Never got an e-mail from Ford.

It’s supposed to be 4 alphanumeric code. If you don’t know the order # but have the vin we can help you decipher it.

The tracker always works for me but provides no additional information after the vehicle is shipped. No longer displays the Estimated delivery date which I never believed was accurate. Report at the local dealer shows April 9th delivery while the tracker used to state Mar 18. It is funny; though, that the VVR, a different dealer report, also shows the same date that the tracker used to display. Just no way will my Mach get from KC, where it is currently located, to Fairbanks in 10 days. By April 9 is believable. I am in no rush but it would be nice though with the crazy increase to gasoline prices at the moment.

You are looking at the item# field, ignore the first two before the dash the 4 alphanumeric code after the dash is your order #

For example from the screenshot below, the order # is Z700

But if you have a VIN but no window sticker (which is only available close to your production date), I think the only way to get the order number is from your dealer-- I got a "preview order" sheet upon ordering from my dealer which had this order number.
