All I have to add is bringing back trip planner and the charge to 100% button is a must! Removing helpful features is never a good game plan Ford! Sonos is currently learning this lesson too.

Mine is not updating the current state of charge. Lastnight I was at 60% and this morning the app reports no charging took place and still at 60% but I just went out to the car and it's at 90% like it's supposed to but the Ford Pass 5.0 app still shows 60% no matter how many times I restart the app. Also "Waiting to Charge 12am, Thursday". Clicking the little Start Button next to it fails to bring up anything

Under the hood, there are some major major improvements. The UI changes will be a bit YMMV, but the reliability, speed and responsiveness updates should be night and day. There was sooo much we wanted to do but couldn’t due to what’s already out there. We absolutely pushed for the best we could do given our existing limits.

We all were very cognizant of the forum complaints and issues — internally we had the same issues and complaints.

This has been a loooong time coming. Heck I remember my initial pitches for it which feels like a lifetime ago.

I was hoping to see a display of the SOC of the LVB. Maybe tomorrow.

It is now a button labelled Start and appears in the top right hand corner in the Vehicle or Energy tabs when a vehicle is plugged in but not charging.

Android version looks nothing like this. Can you confirm this is the IOS version please?

Just be aware some features are missing in the new version. We’ll see how this goes.

My opinion is FP 5.0 is not a finished product yet, and the features removed are going to be frustrating for some people.

Under access and permissions it shows plug and charge is checked but you cannot tell what certificates you may have, such as Tesla and EA. In the old version you could easily tell what you had.

not overly impressed with this Version so far.
